Assisted Transportation

The HOPES CAP, Inc. Assisted Transportation Program provides transportation services to seniors age 60 and over free of charge. Our vehicles accommodate clients with special needs that may require wheelchair accessible transportation.

Our transportation staff provides escorted service to and from medical appointments, supermarkets, banks, pharmacies, & other community facilities.

How to Arrange for Assisted Transportation:

• Call for an appointment at least one week in advance or as soon an appointment has been made. Telephone number: (201) 656-3711.


• When making a transportation appointment inform staff if the transportation service will be a one-way or a two-way trip as well as if a wheelchair accessible vehicle is required.



• All clients requesting a return trip home are asked to call HOPES CAP, Inc. at the end of the appointment.


• To change an appointment time, cancel an appointment, and/or cancel a scheduled return trip , please call the HOPES CAP, Inc. office. If a staff member is not available to receive the call, please leave a message.
