The HOPES Board of Directors is dedicated to helping people help themselves and will continue its work on behalf of the community by endorsing programs that are socially relevant, stimulating and essential to the individual's future success.


Board members meet monthly to discuss agency issues.

The Hoboken Organization against Poverty and Economic Stress, Inc. is organized as a 501©(3) corporation that is governed by a Board of Trustees.

The Board is a tri-partite Board: one third represent HOPES target population, one third represent the local business and professional community, and one third represent elected officials from the local area.

The main responsibility of the Board is to ensure that the agency is operating smoothly according to specific regulations set forth by local, state and federal reguations and guidelines.

The Board of Directors is responsible for developing HOPES policies and overseeing the financial well being of the organization.
